How youll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) The Sales Manager for Delta’s Pharma product will be responsible for all commercial activities and business development for the North America region. This will be critical in supporting the implementation and realizing the product strategy for Pharma in alignment with the long-term strategy, growing Delta’s book of business for these products, and will report directly to the Director – Americas Sales.Summary of responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks): Supports Delta Cargo’s Pharma product portfolio including HQ relationship with larger Pharma customers; builds and expands these product portfolios with a focus on speed to spanet, customer satisfaction, customer retention and growth of new business, so that Delta Cargo remains competitive in the industry; and provides our customers with options to support all of their shipment needs. Establishes and maintains a competitive product assessment to ensure our products are at parity or better than competitive offerings for the region in collaboration with Senior Business Development Pharma Drives enhancements to Pharma product portfolio to increase spanet share and yield with a focus on existing and new innovative solutions. Develops special custom solutions for large enterprise organizations connected to the Pharma product, works through special projects in his field of responsibility and develops the annual Cargo business plan for Pharma. Supports the development of new and enhance processes from documentation, solution design and training materials to ensure the successful execution of the product offering. Lead and development local, regional Pharma business communities, forums, vendors and international entities within the Pharma product offering and GDP & CEIV stakeholders. Represents Delta Cargo in user and industry groups to drive initiatives and standards that support our strategic objectives Liaises with key areas on the passenger team to build on their experiences, identifies opportunities for synergies and generates new ideas that enhance our product portfolio. Create relationships with Passenger Sellers at key Pharma producers. Researches and facilitates detailed analyses of data to determine optimum programs and goals. Develops and prepares business cases and justification for Pharma growth. Additional tasks may be required based on business needs.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) Minimum of five years of experience and understanding of cargo, pharma and healthcare industry, products, operational processes and technologies or relevant experience. Must be able to influence and drive change at all levels of the organization. Must have demonstrated problem solving, organizational, analytical and decision-making skills, as well as the ability to lead and direct multiple assignments simultaneously. Must be able to interact effectively with executives and able to confidently speak before large groups and effectively conduct meetings. Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Experience; Access, as well as Tableau and other database/analytic platforms is preferred. Should possess excellent oral and written communication skills and have a professional demeanor. Must have effective time management and multi-tasking skills in addition to critical thinking skills and high emotional intelligence. Must be able to work well under pressure and effectively balance multiple, rapidly shifting priorities with little direct supervision. Must be able to travel (up to 60) and represent Delta at industry / customer functions. Must be a team player. Must be performing satisfactorily in present position. Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles. Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications) A bachelor’s degree in business, spaneting, supply-chain or finance. An MBA is preferred.Aviation or transportation industry experience. Cargo sales experience or similar industries.
