Job Description:

Position Summary:
The MSU Team Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting our external AOG customers by ensuring the swift deployment, tracking, and logistical coordination of Mobile Service Unit (MSU) field technicians. Operating within a 24/7/365 environment, this position directly supports the return-to-service (RTS) process by managing team logistics, documentation, and external client communication to reduce aircraft downtime and uphold customer satisfaction.
 

Essential Functions:

• Coordinate and dispatch MSU SWAT (Swift Action) Teams to respond to customer AOG events and scheduled field maintenance
• Assign and track daily MSU team tasking to ensure rapid and efficient aircraft return-to-service (RTS) for external clients
• Arrange travel, lodging, and logistics for MSU team members for on-site maintenance events across various regions
• Utilize IT systems to initiate work orders, track service status, and support short- and long-term maintenance activity reporting
• Serve as the primary communication link between MSU teams and external customers, ensuring real-time updates and job status clarity
• Maintain accurate records of all service events, including crew movements, work performed, and follow-up actions
• Assist with customer service support for AOG inquiries, updates, and after-service communication
• Support tool and parts shipment coordination as needed for remote maintenance events
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of MSU field operations and client delivery

• Ability to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed to support client needs
• Interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with internal teams and external vendors or operators

• Fast learner with ability to adapt to dynamic systems and operating conditions
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to interpret data, prioritize tasks, and manage complex logistical coordination
• Comfortable working under pressure and responding quickly to evolving customer scenarios
 

Preferred Competencies & System Knowledge:
• Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook)
• Advanced Excel: filtering, pivot tables, basic analytics
• Aviation maintenance tracking platforms (Corridor, CAMP)
• Workflow or task management tools (Air table, etc.)
• Prior experience in AOG coordination, field service dispatch, or aviation logistics preferred
 

Work Environment:
• Role may be performed in an operations center or remotely with occasional on-site coordination
• Extended hours or weekend work may be required based on AOG demand and customer volume
• Occasional travel for training or operational support
 

Physical demands

Job Requirements:

Required Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant License required 
  • 3+ years of experience in aviation operations, maintenance dispatch, or AOG coordination
  • Strong knowledge of business aviation operations and terminology (Part 91/135/145 environments)
  • Proven ability to coordinate field teams and support logistics in high-pressure, time-critical situations
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with flight departments, OEMs, and aircraft owners
  • Proficiency in using maintenance tracking platforms (e.g., CAMP, Corridor) and workflow tools (Airtable, Smartsheet, etc.)
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Self-motivated, organized, and adaptable in a fast-paced, 24/7 operation
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass background/drug screening
