How youll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) The FOS EFB Support plays a critical role in supporting the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) ecosystem used by Delta Flight Operations. This position bridges frontline pilot operational experience with technical product development, ensuring that EFB software and hardware solutions meet the functional, safety, and usability needs of the flight deck environment. The Advisor works closely with the EFB Program, DPS development teams, and cross‑functional partners to test, validate, and enhance EFB applications and supporting materials.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) Operational & Technical AdvisoryProvide operational insight and subject‑matter expertise during EFB application development.Participate in recurring EFB Program meetings representing frontline operational needs.Collect, analyze, and respond to pilot feedback to drive continuous improvement.Advise on feature and enhancement prioritization in alignment with EFB Program strategy.Generate detailed functional requirements for new and enhanced EFB features.Conduct early-stage testing of application builds prior to Production rollout to ensure readiness and usability.Documentation, Training & Support MaterialsAssist in the creation, review, and maintenance of EFB documentation and supporting materials.Support the development of pilot eLearning and training content related to EFB applications, workflows, and updates.Provide input and review for pilot communications related to EFB features, updates, and trial participation.Safety Management System (SMS) IntegrationIdentify potential SMS triggers related to EFB changes or issues.Support completion of initial Safety Risk Management (SRM) steps, ensuring compliance with safety processes and documentation standards.Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.Embraces a diverse set of people, thinking and styles.Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
