How youll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) The TechOps Supply Chain Management team is seeking an experienced professional to join as a Sr. Sourcing Manager, responsible for the strategic sourcing and supplier performance management of key Delta Tech Ops suppliers.The Supply Chain Sr. Sourcing Manager is responsible for leading the development of commodity sourcing strategies, sourcing initiatives, risk management, and Delta-partner initiatives. This role also is integral for delivering year-over-year savings utilizing strategic sourcing processes and a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) approach to recommendations. This position will be integral to managing supplier performance, including regular scorecard reviews, development, execution, and monitoring of performance improvement plans and supporting operationally critical supplier requirements.Summary of responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks):Responsible for building and sustaining relationships cross-divisionally with business leaders, aligning on the short- and long-term business unit strategy, collaboratively prioritizing strategic sourcing initiatives to meet operational and commercial objectives critical to aircraft maintenanceAble to draft agreements for new supplier relationships and to document existing relationshipsDevelops, deploys, and supports sourcing strategies, focused primarily on contract labor. Leads the execution of sourcing strategies, including RFPs, supplier selection, negotiation of commercial terms for major contracts, etc.Reviews and considers supplier risk profiles and manages relationships with strategic suppliers. Manages supplier performance and innovation value initiatives. Creates change implementation plans as neededLeads supplier business reviews with the business unit, as needed; supports Executive engagements with key strategic suppliers and periodic initiative updates that require Executive level approval and/or strategic alignmentManages the contract implementation process with business partners to ensure contract compliance and value capture. Supports warranty claims and contract support
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance or EngineeringMinimum of 1 to 3 years Supply Chain Management or related maintenance/operational field experienceDemonstrated project management skills and ability to effectively work with multiple, diverse stakeholders at all organizational levelsHigh quality presentation and communication skills, value-based decision analysis, financial modeling, and consensus buildingAbility to manage interactions with others; building value-based relationships; exerting personal influenceDemanding work hours - flexibility required. Some travel required. Must be performing satisfactorily in current positionConsistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal dataEmbraces diverse people, thinking, and stylesPossesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalencyIs at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States
