Not RequiredCollins Aerospace is hiring a Senior Quality Supervisor to lead quality engineering efforts supporting deicing product lines including Heated Composites, Elastomerics, Timers, and Pneumatics. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop innovative solutions, recommend and deploy new tools and technologies, and drive meaningful reductions in scrap while improving product quality, process capability, and overall operational performance. This role may be eligible for relocation.
What You Will Do
- Plans and establishes goals and objectives for the Quality Engineering team, with direct impact on the immediate or short-term operational results of the work area. Communicates with parties within and outside of own department which may include external customers or vendors. Sets day-to-day goals and objectives for team members.
- Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation, control systems and protocols. Works with designs and specifications, devises testing plans, methods and equipment to assure reliability of product. Collaborates internally to ensure quality standards are in effect. Ensures that projects and process control documents are compliant with requirements, objectives and/or contracts.
- Identifies and manages risk in product development (primarily utilizing and driving Production Part Approval Process (PAPP) core elements e.g. PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow and Control Plans, etc.). Develops and implements proactive quality strategies. Performs Escape management procedures, root cause analysis, and recommends corrective action(s).
- Ensures all requirements are met for work transfer and process change management (e.g. Resourcing Gate and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) acceptance). Designs and implements product engineering changes to satisfy quality issues raised by customers. Supports the development and maintenance of inspection technologies or methodologies to assure product conformance.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
Qualifications We Prefer
- Previous experience with AS9100, NADCAP, BSI, and other regulatory bodies
Proven track record of supervision, cross-training, and leadership capability
First Article Inspection knowledge and experience
- Scrap, reduction, and re-work reduction management skills
- Familiarity with multiple systems including SAP, Agile, ETQ, and Net-Inspect
- Non-destructive testing and source inspection experience
- Familiarity with FAA requirements including 8130-3 and 8130-9 issuance

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
