Review, validate, and approve technical documents, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and the department’s approval system.
Ensure issuance of accurate, timely, and well-supported technical instructions, engineering reports, and compliance documents.
Lead advanced technical investigations, root-cause analysis, and engineering assessments for recurring defects, premature component removals, and abnormal wear trends.
Provide or endorse approved engineering data for inspections, repairs, and modifications beyond the scope of OEM manuals.
Act as the main liaison with aircraft manufacturers, suppliers, MROs, and Aviation Authorities for complex technical matters, regulatory clarifications, and engineering issue resolutions.
Ensure all communications and submissions to authorities meet compliance standards.
Oversee data validation, defect trend analysis, and corrective/preventive action development in support of the Reliability Program.
Collaborate with the Reliability Section to enhance fleet reliability and reduce operational disruptions.
Lead the implementation of corrective and preventive actions arising from audits, compliance monitoring, and internal quality investigations.
Recommend process improvements, engineering standards enhancements, and documentation upgrades to strengthen technical governance.
Assess skill gaps within the team and recommend required training to strengthen engineering competency and regulatory knowledge.
Mentor and guide junior engineers and executives to ensure consistent technical quality and performance.
Ensure sufficient technical data, tools, and references are available for effective engineering analysis.
Identify potential operational risks related to engineering issues and recommend mitigation measures.
Participate in fleet modification programs, aircraft deliveries/redeliveries, and major engineering projects as required.
Provide high-level technical inputs to management for decision-making.
