We are seeking skilled A&P-Licensed Mechanics to join a high-performing heavy maintenance operation in Bridgeport, WV. This role is ideal for mechanics with any fixed-wing or rotary-wing background, including military veterans transitioning into civilian aviation.
You’ll be performing high-level aircraft maintenance, repairs, inspections, and component replacements on a variety of airframes within a well-equipped MRO environment. Responsibilities
- Perform inspections, repairs, and scheduled/unscheduled maintenance on fixed-wing aircraft
- Troubleshoot mechanical discrepancies using technical manuals and schematics
- Conduct component removal, installation, rigging, and system checks
- Document all work performed in accordance with FAA, company, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with leads, QA inspectors, and engineering support
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and maintenance best practices
Requirements
- Active FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
- Experience in any aviation maintenance environment (MRO, airline, depot, military, GA, corporate, etc.)
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Your own basic hand tools
Preferred
- Fixed-wing aircraft maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability
- Military aircraft maintenance background (Army, Navy, Air Force, or USMC veterans highly encouraged to apply)
Compensation & Benefits
- $37/hr base pay
- $1,000/week per diem split (Maximizes take-home pay)
- 30 days free hotel lodging provided at start of assignment
- Unlimited overtime available (many mechanics exceed 60 hrs/week)
- Estimated yearly earnings: $100K–$120K+ depending on OT
