JOB DESCRIPTION:
YOUR ROLE AS A:
Logistic Senior Executive at Indonesia AirAsia, responsible for managing the import and
export of aircraft spare parts via air and sea freight. Coordinate with freight forwarders,
customs brokers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment and
clearance. Prepare tenders, reports, SOPs, and support tax exemption processes.
Ensure compliance with regulations while streamlining procedures for efficient and
timely operations.
WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:
1. Manage and oversee all import and export processes for aircraft spare parts via
air freight or sea freight, including supervision of deliveries.
2. Prepare and manage the annual tender process for customs brokerage and
freight forwarding services.
3. Conduct and support all internal and external audits, including required prior
disclosures, and supervise the performance of external parties such as freight
forwarders and customs brokers.
4. Monitor the implementation of departmental operations to ensure full compliance
with applicable regulations for the department and its subsidiaries, establish
performance targets, and streamline processes in line with government
regulations for aircraft spare parts import and export.
5. Prepare all required reports in a timely manner and ensure their accuracy.
6. Support the Tax Department in the preparation and submission of tax exemption
applications for aircraft spare parts.
7. Perform reconciliations and prepare reports related to the utilization of tax
exemptions.
8. Prepare for upcoming customs audits, including reconciliations, data compilation,
and risk calculations.
9. Prepare, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work
instructions for export and import processes.
10. Coordinate with AirAsia overseas offices, suppliers, and freight forwarders on
export-import arrangements, shipments, procedures, and regulatory
requirements.
11. Coordinate with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth
and timely customs clearance processes.

WHO YOU ARE:
1. 8–10 years of experience in logistics and customs.
2. Experience in the aviation industry (supply chain/logistics) is an advantage, or
exposure to freight forwarding, supply chain/logistics, and customs brokerage.
3. Strong expertise in customs regulations.
4. Extensive experience in handling customs audits.
5. Strong communication skills.
6. Strong analytical skills.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
8. Good understanding of PLB / bonded-zone customs processes.
9. Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
10. Willing to work in the Tangerang area.
