Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a hands-on and proactive Logistics Assistant to support our Maintenance & Engineering team. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials, tools, and equipment within our warehouse and logistics operations. Your work contributes directly to the operational readiness of our maintenance teams and supports compliance with aviation standards.
Your responsibilities include:
- Supporting Storekeepers and Logistic Coordinators in their daily activities
- Receiving, unpacking, storing, and preparing goods for shipment
- Performing regular warehouse tasks (e.g. inventory checks, stock rotation, shelf replenishment)
- Signing and managing delivery notes and shipment documentation
- Keeping the warehouse clean and organized
- Managing internal and external transport operations
- Assisting with annual stock inventories across all warehouses
- Maintaining and refuelling logistics vehicles
- Creating daily FAKs (First Aid Kits)
- Supporting the Logistic Coordinator with packaging and repair orders
- Managing the Machelen warehouse (stock control, cleaning, transport coordination, inventory)
- Organizing ad hoc transports and storage from/to various locations (e.g. Brucargo, b.House)
- Acting as the main contact point (SPOC) for suppliers and third parties (e.g. Mobility Master, BP, LSG)
- Filing and managing logistics documentation upon request
- Reporting directly to the Logistic Manager

Your profile

- Secondary level (A2) or equivalent by experience
- Valid forklift license
- Good knowledge of English. Dutch and/or French is a plus.
- Relevant experience in a warehouse is a plus, or good knowledge of the organization of a storage site
- Driver license B is a must. C is a plus.
- Microsoft Office
- AMOS knowledge is a plus
- To work accurate and autonomous
- Maintain cleanliness
- Customer friendly
