In collaboration with the Finance Manager, the financial analyst supports strategic decision-making by conducting in-depth financial analyses, preparing reports, developing models, and ensuring accurate cost accounting. The person in this role also contributes to performance monitoring, budgeting activities, and project evaluations in partnership with various operational teams.
Responsibilities
• Participate in the month-end process, including journal entries, results review, and validation of accounting data.
• Analyze variances between actual results and forecasts and provide explanations and recommendations.
• Monitor KPIs and produce dashboards to support internal teams.
• Prepare periodic financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Contribute to budgeting and financial forecasting processes.
• Collaborate with multiple internal teams to collect, validate, and standardize data.
• Perform balance sheet analyses, including tracking variations in key accounts.
• Support year-end audit activities by preparing required documentation and responding to auditor requests.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to support business decisions.
