Role Overview
We are looking for a Solution Designer Associate to join our regional pre-sales team in Amman. This role is designed for early-career professionals who want to build strong foundations in solution design, technical pre-sales, and customer engagement within the air transport industry.
As a Solution Designer Associate, you will support Sales Managers in analyzing customer requirements and developing technical solutions and proposals. You will gain hands-on exposure to bid processes, and cross-functional collaboration while progressively increasing your responsibility and technical ownership.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Assist in the design of standard and moderately complex solutions, following established, standard architectures and best practices.
- Analyze and understand customer technical requirements and help translate them into standard SITA products and solution components.
- Contributes to the preparation of technical sections of customer proposals, including solution descriptions, assumptions, constraints, and technical compliance matrices.
- Support bid teams during proposal phases, ensuring timely delivery of assigned tasks and deliverables.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Sales, Commercial, Global Services, Engineering, and Implementation teams to gather inputs for proposals.
- Support the handover of awarded projects to implementation teams by contributing to solution documentation and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of solutions, configurations, and customer requirements.
- Continuously build technical, industry, and commercial knowledge through training, self-learning, and on-the-job experience.

Who YOU ARE
Education & Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business
- Relevant technical training or certifications are an advantage
- Interest in solution design, systems integration, or technical pre-sales
Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in an IT, technology, or systems-related role
- Exposure to pre-sales, solution design, systems engineering, or technical consulting is a plus
- Experience working in international or cross-functional environments is desirable
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic understanding of IT systems, applications, or solution architectures
- Interest in the air transport industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Customer-oriented mindset and willingness to support sales and pre-sales activities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, matrix organization
- Strong motivation to learn and grow into a more senior solution design role
Languages
- Fluency in English is mandatory, additional European languages are an advantage
