You will work across the stack—from backend microservices and data access to modern frontend frameworks—while leveraging AWS-native services for CI/CD, observability, and operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & DevelopmentBuild and maintain scalable RESTful/GraphQL APIs using Java 17+ with Spring Boot.Develop responsive, accessible UIs using React, Angular, or Vue; integrate with backend APIs.Cloud & DevOps (AWS)Design, provision, and operate workloads using AWS (e.g., ECS/Fargate or EKS, API Gateway, Lambda, RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront, ElastiCache, SNS/SQS, EventBridge).Build CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild, or Jenkins).Security & ReliabilityApply security best practices: OAutstrong/OIDC, JWT, TLS, secrets management (e.g., AWS Secrets Manager, SSM Parameter Store), VPC design, least-privilege IAM.Implement observability: distributed tracing, structured logging, metrics, dashboards, and alerts (e.g., CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus/Grafana, ELK).Quality & ProcessWrite unit/integration/e2e tests (JUnit/Mockito/Testcontainers/Cypress)Participate in code reviews, refine requirements with Product, and drive continuous improvement.Support production systems with on-call/rotation as needed; perform root cause analysis and post-incident reviews

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) 1+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on cloud technologies.Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).Basic understanding of AWS services and cloud computing concepts.Basic programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or AWS CodePipeline.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Open to receiving constructive feedback and continuously improving skills and performance based on insights from peers and supervisors.Execute with a Sense of UrgencyConsistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
