Job Description

This hands-on position requires effectively troubleshooting and repairing Avionics and Electrical equipment with minimal supervision, ensuring high-quality and safe work to achieve total customer satisfaction.

Essential Skills

• 2-5 years of Avionic experience.
• Experience with Aircraft Electrical systems.
• Experience working with Autopilots, Flight Management Systems, Navigation and Communication Systems, EFIS, Aircraft Electrical Systems, Lighting, Pitot and Static Systems.

Responsibilities

• Effectively troubleshoot and repair all avionics and electrical systems on aircraft.
• Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn new electrical and avionics systems.
• Communicate progress with Department Manager regularly.
• Ensure all work performed is inspected by an authorized repair station inspector.
• Complete paperwork daily in a concise and legible manner.
• Report any problems or repairs that cannot be completed in a reasonable period to the Department Manager.
• Report discrepancies related to company tooling/equipment.
• Follow the company work order and parts requisition process.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and efficient work area.
• Repair and calibrate shop equipment as assigned.
• Inspect avionics repairs and mod work as necessary.
• Assist with training for Avionics Repair Technician Level 1 personnel.
• Undertake other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

Work primarily within the companys hangar, with most tasks performed inside the aircraft. The environment is fairly clean and temperature-controlled, working with a small team.

This is a Permanent position based out of Milan, IL.

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
