Job Title: Avionics TechnicianJob DescriptionAs an Avionics Technician, you will perform efficient maintenance, inspection, installation, modification, and repair of all electrical and avionics systems on assigned aircraft. You will troubleshoot and test complex avionic and electrical systems under simulated or actual operating conditions to determine performance and airworthiness. Your role involves applying comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting manufacturers’ manuals, operators’ handbooks, or other similar documents. Ensuring aircraft airworthiness and safety will be your priority.
Responsibilities- Perform maintenance, inspection, and repair of electrical and avionics systems on assigned aircraft.
- Troubleshoot and test avionic and electrical systems to assess performance and airworthiness.
- Apply technical knowledge to solve complex problems using manufacturers’ manuals and handbooks.
- Determine equipment malfunctions and apply expertise to restore equipment operation.
- Ensure aircraft airworthiness and prioritize safety.
Essential Skills- 3+ years of avionics experience or electrical/electronic experience on fixed wing aircraft.
- Technical knowledge of avionics and electrical systems.
- Ability to install, troubleshoot, and repair avionic systems.
- Experience with wire harness installation.
- Aircraft Electronics Technician (AET) certification.
- FCC license with radar endorsement.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Proficiency in using test equipment for maintenance tasks.
- Ability to interpret complex technical documents.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.76 - $33.07/hr.
