Take Your Skills to New HeightsPDS Tech Commercial is seeking highly skilled Assemblers to support complex aerospace manufacturing operations in North Charleston, SC. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to the production of advanced aircraft systems, where your expertise will directly impact safety, performance, and innovation in the aerospace industry.
What You’ll DoPerform complex assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, and aircraft systems using manual and automated tools.
Conduct functional testing and troubleshooting of aircraft electrical systems and components.
Assess and document test data to ensure compliance with specifications.
Identify and escalate production issues, supporting continuous improvement through open communication.
Mentor and cross-train teammates to enhance team performance.
Maintain strict adherence to safety standards and regulatory compliance.
What You BringRequired Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing.
7+ years of experience in electrical assembly and working with electronic materials.
7+ years of experience in avionics systems troubleshooting, wire bundle installations, and aircraft electrical systems.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications in English.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Suite and internet-based applications.
Ability to meet physical demands including lifting, kneeling, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
Flexibility to work any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) based on business needs.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
