Job Summary
The Resource Analyst will serve as a tactical member of the Operations team. Responsible for controlling the resource management process. The primary responsibility will be to proactively plan, roster and allocate across NOAM stations. This role is also responsible for analyzing productivity, worked hours and labor cost trends as well as operational KPIs to adjust the manpower planning accordingly and ensure targets are met consistently.
The expected pay rate is $65,000 - $75,000/annually. Full-time employees are offered a range of health and wellness benefits as well as 401(k) with company match paid vacation time, sick time, and company paid holidays.
Your activities
- Accurate planning / allocation of staff ensuring engagement standards & SLA’s are adhered too.
- Prompt reaction to situations, changes to Customer Airline schedules and accurate recording and communication to all departments.
- Proactive dissemination of information to station OCC controllers with respect to changes in manpower allocation.
- Advanced/forward planning of Operations roster – Ensuring correct Operational coverage available 24x7x365.
- Utilize the system to verify the need for any authorized OT or shift extensions
- Analyze actual vs scheduled & planned hours to recognize trends and adjust accordingly
- Audit FSC to ensure all additional services are entered and all flights are closed
- Follow escalation plan to report any non-compliance
- Ensure adherence to OT approval and schedule change process
- Utilize the system to verify the need for OT or shift extensions
- Consistent and accurate utilization of company tools, FSC, AE, SOr, FIS, Realtime and ESD.
- Undertake analysis/provide reports as required by the OCC Support Manager.
- Liaise with Planning, HR and Training departments regarding required headcount, training requirements, staff holidays and absences.
- Close liaison with Airside Shift Manager to ensure potential challenges are overcome before becoming operational problem

Your profile
- At least 3 years of operational experience, Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- Good working knowledge of the issues involved in managing a labor-intensive workforce.
- Excellent planning and communication skills.
- Evidence of good level of people and operational management skills including leadership, resource management, planning, negotiation, communication, financial and HR skills.
- Good working knowledge of the statutory and procedural obligations of the business including health and safety, employment and security issues.
- Ability to quickly and accurately assess situation and instigate corrective action.
- Flexibility to work on various shifts – Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends and Holiday periods in line with business demand and operational requirements.
- Strong verbal communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Ability to travel up to 20 to support job responsibilities
