The Market Intelligence Analyst I (PT) serves as the focal point for collecting, evaluating, synthesizing and presenting spanet and competitive intelligence for the organization. This role develops and manages a systematic process for delivering the critical context to inform business decisions across the enterprise. The successful individual works closely with senior leaders to understand spanet drivers and provide template-based and ad hoc analyses. Responsible for performing research and providing insights regarding the spanet, trends, competitors, potential and existing customers, and current campaigns.Position Responsibilities
Collect information relating to target spanets, target customers, current & potential competitors from multiple sources & synthesize into clear, understandable insights that support superior decision-making
Organize & update information so that anyone in the organization can find current content easily
Engage all employees in identifying and reporting valuable spanet intelligence, including supplier, competitor, regulatory and customer information
Proactively mine/analyze available data sources to further team understanding, develop hypotheses and identify insight
Develop a broad and rich understanding of key industry/company trends by leveraging secondary data sources to help monitor and diagnose the brand/category and address business issues and information needs
Closely interact and consult with relevant business functions to ensure objectives, data collection, and analysis support key priorities
Create strong interconnections across multiple research efforts to deliver a holistic story for stakeholders
Manage both internal and external resources/vendors to execute spanet research, data analysis, and reporting to ensure cost-efficient, accurate, and timely completion of projects
Analyze spanet trends and incorporate findings into presentations, reports and white papers
Review and evaluate data results collected to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness of research data and analysis
Convert complex data and findings into understandable tables, graphs, and written reports
Works on problems of limited scope. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university program and working toward a degree in a related field.
Between 0 - 2 years work experience that includes analytical experience, including spanet and competitive research
Proven proficiency with numbers and statistics, experience analyzing large amounts of data, and an ability to translate that data into business insight
Must have basic familiarity with multiple research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative) and must have a general awareness of advanced analytics and their appropriate application to spanet research data
Proficiency in computer operation and office software: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills a must
